Business Development Manager (NetSuite ERP)

1. Job Summary:

A Business Development Manager plays a role in leading and expanding our NetSuite Practice in Vietnam. He/she is required to have wide and deep knowledge of ERP solutions, particularly NetSuite, and a proven track record in business development and sales. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and working closely with the implementation team to ensure client satisfaction and project success.


2. Job Detail:

Essential functions:           

  • VN Market Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
    • Analyze the competitive landscape and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead Generation and Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with Oracle, partners, prospective and existing clients.
    • Identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels (networking, cold calling, inbound leads, etc.).
    • Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to network and promote BTM Global’s branding.
  • Marketing and Sales Management and Support:
    • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including email marketing, online advertising, and promotional events.
    • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to build sales strategies and achieve business targets.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and sales campaigns and propose improvement measures.
    • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
    • Conduct negotiations and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales materials and campaigns.
  • Client Onboarding and Account Management:
    • Work closely with the implementation team to ensure smooth client onboarding and project kick-offs.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the initial stages of the project.
    • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Other functions:
    • Follow BTM methodologies and procedures.
    • Attend and participate in BTM management meetings as required.
    • Research and develop training/mentoring other team members on new technologies.
    • Participate in the annual performance review for all team members.
    • Perform other tasks assigned by managers.

3. Requirement:

Education, Experience and Other Skills:

  • 4-year college degree or above in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Other relevant certificates in Software, Hardware, Networking Engineering or Management and Soft skills are plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the ERP or software industry.
  • Specific experience consulting to and/or working within medium to enterprise scale organizations.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP and its implementation processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • At least 3-year experience in working with English Speaking clients.
  • Must have good English (equivalent TOEIC 700 for manager level and TOEIC 750 for senior manager level) skills, including reading, writing, listening and speaking.
  • Excellent negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to risk management, change management, and crisis management.
  • Proven customer engagement skills and track record of consulting, delivering, deploying and implementing large enterprise SaaS or cloud-based technologies.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines.
  • Ability to be flexible and to handle multiple projects in an organized, timely manner.
  • Experienced in collaborating closely with the sales team to drive deal closures. Must possess strong business development skills and be able to provide strategic guidance to enhance team performance, with a focus on driving sales growth.
